Nostalgia sponsored a skiing trip to A-Basin. All 8 of the team members and leaders arrived in Breckenridge the evening before for a very lively dinner watching the NCAA basketball game at Eric’s Pizza before heading out to the condo in Keystone, “these Nostalgia guys sure get around!”
Next morning, after a hearty breakfast omelet of stir fried onions and Monterey Jack cheese (prepared by team leader Godwin with sidekick “R.O.B.B.I.” organizing the ski gear; and our fearless leader Jim Shannon “SUPERVISED…” to ensure everyone got off to a great day of skiing). It was off to the Basin! With several inches of fresh powder fallen the night before, the slopes on the lower half of the mountain had some of the best conditions this season. By mid afternoon the skies had turned deep blue and temperature rose to a near perfect 32 degrees. Later in the evening, the team convened for a tasty Chinese dinner at the Red Coral Restaurant in Denver. Congratulations to Nostalgia for another exciting and successful expedition!
